"I've been waiting my whole life...."

On Sunday Uncle Alden gave Emily a plastic, play ring (probably from a 25 cent machine or maybe not even that much). After church she was showing it to Trent....this is the conversation!!

Emily: "Daddy look what I got!!!!!" (Said with much enthusiam)
Trent: "OOO....who gave it to you?"
Emily: "Uncle Alden"
Trent: "Doesn't he know you are too young for that?" (Emily totally didn't get the whole marriage connotation, which I am truthfully grateful for).
Emily: "Daddy!!!!!! I have been waiting my whole life for one of these!!!!!!"

After we finally stopped laughing I said "All three and a half years of it?"
She replied "Yep!!"
