Ethan's Birthday/Great Grandparents

Yesterday Kari, Natalie, and I (along with our kids) got to go see Great Grandma and Grandpa Crowther. It was fun (once we finally got there)!! We ended up with a VERY flat tire about 5 minutes outside of Hermiston. Just in case you were wondering...it takes 4 cars to fix one flat. Well that is what it took us (One was Kari who followed Natalie and I. The second car was Justin hoping my parents spare would fit our car...should have checked the number of lug nuts before we did that :)!! and the last was my mom with our spare to our car. Justin kindly drove it back and we took my mom's car). So about 1 1/2 hours later we were finally on the road again. Great Grandma Crowther read books to Ethan and Jared. They both LOVED it!! (Only Ethan wouldn't sit on Grandma's lap).

Emily didn't want a picture with them :(!!! She did smile good though for one with me!!

I love Ethan's arm in this picture. He does that ALL THE TIME!!!
Ethan's 2nd Birthday!!! He chose a carrot cake (he LOVES it)!!! Can I please say too how impressed I am with how he blows out candles....no spit at all!!!! He only does one candle at a time but it is soooo cute!!
Excited to see the candles.
Playing with his tee ball set. (in his new clothes)
Check out where the ball is....I am impressed that I actually caught it in the picture (and that it is clear enough to see it).
His first whack (yes he doesn't swing....only hits it straight on the top).
Excited for the tee ball set.....
Showing off his clothes. He was so funny....every present he opened he would take it over to Emily and show her it. It was really cute.
Not sure what this is....then after getting it opened enough "OCCER BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He didn't even want to open the rest of his presents. He was satisfied with just that ball...and plays with it LOTS!!
SMILE!!!!!!

I did a test run with candles on his breakfast.......

  1. He's adorable (and so are you and Emily). Happy Birthday, Ethan!!!
I'm so jealous that you all went to see grandma and grandpa. I want to go see them again, but we are always waiting for no sick kids (at all!) and a free weekend. Those things don't line up very often...bummer.
