The Rodeo and more

I took this picture first thing today when Emily said (after she got tackled by her brother) "Maybe you should take a picture and send it to Aunt Dee". Sorry we don't have a cell phone aunt Dee so this is the best you get!! :)!!! Can you tell they both woke up tired today?!?!?

This was Ethan's favorite thing to do during the rodeo (this or sitting like he is in the picture below). We had a GREAT time with my family!! Emily didn't move for the longest time (seriously like an hour) from my dad's lap.

Silly thing Ethan did....We were eating dinner with Trent's family at a Chinese place and it was kinda late. Ethan was being VERY cranky (which for him means LOUD). I was trying to keep him entertained until the food was ready, but failing miserably. He kept wanting my water, but I didn't want to give it to him...with nothing else working, I finally gave in. I wish I had a camera because he was HILARIOUS!!! He took the straw out and was using it to blow bubbles. I wish I could describe it better, but he would "dip" it in the water, then pull it out and "blow" on it...then repeat the process. SO CUTE!!!!!

Emily's new favorite thing to do is dump the toys out and climb in the tote.....Ethan's new favorite thing to do is to dump her over!!! (I was kinda surprised he actually strong enough)!!

Funny things Emily's been saying!!

Last night she crawled into bed with me and asked "Can't it just be my birthday tomorrow?!?!"

She said it in a very pleading voice.....she still has just over a week to go.

Her new other new favorite thing to do is make up songs. My mom watched them the other night for us and they were driving in the car. I guess the sun was in Emily's eyes so she was singing "The sun is in my eyes. The sun is in my eyes. cont." I guess they finally got her to sing a song for her.

I FINALLY got her to sing Popcorn Popping for the camera (sadly I can't get videos on here....maybe when our computer gets fixed).

When we see ANYTHING that looks remotely neat she tells me she wants it for her birthday. We were at Walmart the other day and she told me like five thigns she wants. I kept saying maybe for her birthday (thinking she would forget about them....or at least some of them). Nope....The next day she reminded me of what all of them were!! We had a little talk about how you can't get EVERYTHING you want for your birthday!!

When I am cooking dinner she (or really cooking anything) she tells me she is hungry and then asks what I am making. Usually before I can even respond (or right after I respond) she tells me "Oh, I don't like that"!! (SO ANNOYING...but at least she usually eats it anyway)...

Kimberly went back to Utah not to long ago and the first time we went to my parents after she had left Emily informed me of this. "Mom, I am just sad cause Kimbery (that is how she says it) isn't here anymore and she had to leave and I am not going to see her for a long time". About broke mine (and Kimberly's hearts)!!

These are a little jumbled. Still things I want to remember!!!
