Emily's Birthday Parties!!

Blowing out the candles. Okay really watching Grandma (taking forever) to light the candles...then listening to everyone sing Happy Birthday...then being to scared to actually blow out the candles.
We finally took them out and let Jared and Kaitlyn each blow one out and then Emily blew them out...but only if we took them out of the cake. Note to all....wax can be very hot!!

Waiting for the chance to blow out the candles!! (or maybe noticing the camera...who knows)

Opening her present from Grandma and Grandpa!!

The clothes from Grandma and Grandpa...yes all we asked for were clothes (she has plenty of toys!!!)
This is what she was asking for all day. Cake and Ice Cream. We had been telling her that on her Birthday she would be two and she would get cake and ice cream...well she didn't let us down. She asked for it for breakfast!!! Needless to say when she finally saw it she was very excited!!

The cake at Grandma and Grandpa Jemmetts. Yes we had two birthday parties...one with each side of the family!! She was trying to blow the candles out until we sang Happy Birthday and then she refused again. I don't know what her deal was because she usually loves EVERYONE's attention. Daddy ended up blowing out the candles (sorry there aren't any pictures but she didn't even blow the candles out and she had already opened up all the presents before this) She did get TONS of clothes from her aunts though and a savings bond from her Grandma and Grandpa Jemmett.

  1. Better to not blow out the candles than to grab the flame like my niece (on Andy's side) did on her first birthday. It was so sad. I think she's still scared of candles.

  2. I love it! And what a great idea, kids are always just going through the clothes and have so many toys we have to go through them and get rid of them before they actually break. I should try that for my kids! Love the pictures, it's so cool to be able to see the kids even when I can't make it down!
